Comfortable bed with plenty of storage space, well-stocked bathroom essentials.
Room located in a converted loft with limited headroom made navigating awkward, especially with a child. The steep stairs to the room could be a challenge, and there was no designated space for hanging wet clothing after rain.

wi-fi in the rooms worked properly as declared
view to the dull yard from the room, air conditioner was broken and thus we've got plenty of mosquitos coming in the night through the window. Breakfast canbe scarcely named as breakfast, there was tea/coffee with crousan/ piece of bread and butter and that's it. Location was not so close to the main square as it was described on the site

Using a google map the hotel was easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small (normal for Venice) but clean.
Our room was on the alley and there was some noise from diners at a cafe directly below.

The gelato at the nearby Gelateria Paolin is to die for, and the Osteria Doge Morosini serves up some culinary gems! Plus, the room had the convenience of leaving windows open for fresh air or closing shutters for a blackout. We felt well taken care of by the lovely owners too!

I liked the decor and the fact that it was an old building converted into a hotel. It was also extremely convenient & close to a vaporetto. The breakfast catered for Anglos by providing muesli, not just a continental breakfast. Both my husband & I appreciated the fact that blankets were provided instead of the usual duvet, which we both find is always too hot.
It is unfortunate that the hotel is opposite a bar, as the noise from late night revellers echoes in the narrow street & comes straight up through the windows. Fortunately, this was not a major problem.

The property was charming little with amicable staff in a good manner. Tried delicious cereals, pastries, eggs and cheese. The location was incredible and wonderful, to another establishment that was directly below one of the windows and the interior design was amazing.

The service was excellent, we had a particularly nice and fine breakfast with espresso and a freshly made cappuccino, for instance. Thoroughly enjoyed the room, it was vintage in a tray.

The staff was charming but shockingly rude when we asked about luggage storage, insisting we leave immediately. The walls had an unbearable smell. As someone who has high expectations, i woudl ve been pleased to receive a complimentary upgrade, but alas. I almost gave a good review, just couldn't!

The location and the services available made this a great stay, no where is too far away.
Not really a big issue but it would be nice to have some clear direction on the Vaporatie services as this information was hard to come by. It meant we had a 1.5 hour wait to leave the Venice because our line didnt start until mid morning.

The classic decor is charming and the central location made exploring super easy. The breakfast was decent, though I wish there were more options. Just a heads up, the stairs to the rooms are steep!

Very well located small hotel with a good breakfast and staff that was helpful both with accommodations and information about Venice. We spent two nights in a room just above the trattoria across the street (which would normally have been fine as the windows are double-paned), then we spent several more nights in an annex a block away, in a very spacious loft apartment.
Arriving as we did during a heat wave, it was problematic that we had to sleep the first night with the window open as the air conditioner was out of repair - this exposed us both to the noise from the trattoria a few feet away and to a lot of mosquitos. The second night, the staff showed great initiative by roping a portable air conditioner into the window - we still had mosquitos but the sound of the unit dulled the trattoria noise and we were cool enough to sleep. We were then moved to an apartment a block away for the remaining four nights of our stay - it was much cooler and a very pleasant place to stay.
